Thoughts on Psalm 138

“I bow before your holy Temple as I worship. I praise your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness; for your promises are backed by all the hononour of your name.”‭‭- Psalm‬ ‭138:2‬ ‭

Here’s a few thoughts I had last night as I was reading before the day ended: 

1. As we meet with God start with worship: our spiritual posture is ‘at His feet’. We bow before him; he doesn’t worship or serve our purposes 

2. Continue to recall his good works in the world and in your life. God is consistently faithful and his love NEVER fails – this makes him trustworthy yesterday, today and forever


3. Remember: his promises are backed by the honour of His name…Jesus – saviour, anointed one , messiah – he has your corner; trust him; keep worshiping him; grow in relationship with him
