Sometimes it isn’t the big things like intense interventions, or medication, that make the difference in our lives (although these are often important key aspects to improving mental health). Sometimes it’s the smaller, subtler things that make the difference and ‘nudge’ our health positively. For me, the small of fresh coffee is a vital daily lift at the start of each and every day. I’ve made it a ritual to have a fresh coffee each morning.
This morning I missed it out, and I definitely missed out on that moment of joy.
