I’ve come to love Irises – the purple iris is meant to symbolise hope. I keep reminding myself to hold on to hope – it’s important to have hope. There is nothing as sad as a hope-less person. We need hope to survive and thrive.
In his wonderful book, “Man’s Search For Meaning”, Victor Frankl strongly argues that hope (or the absence of it) is what fuels us living with a sense of purpose (or not). A person who has no hope lives as if already dead.
Man’s Search for Meaning, Viktor Frankl
Keep your sense of hope alive.
Fuel it and feed it until it drives your life with passion and purpose.
And if at times, like me, you have days that feel hopeless, remind yourself “Have hope”. Find hope in something. Never give up
